There is an incredible history hidden in weather-beaten materials. Tommy wanted this painting to capture the concept of "rust lust", the aesthetic appreciation for decay and the beautiful ways nature reclaims the man-made. This rusty ship's panel reflects the raw, oxidized grit of forgotten iron, overlaid with the elegant force of the Tommy Fiendish swan. It’s a visual clash between industrial entropy and living power. Nature always has the final word, and time only makes the textures more beautiful.

Painted in thick oils using the pallet knife and crusty brushes. Also using hints of spray paint.
