Tommy Fiendish
'My paintings are a collection of forms put in place to create a sensation based around a subject; they do not always carry a direct meaning though possess a weighty essence of concept. I see them as musical scores, the instruments of the orchestra are played in such a way as to stir emotions at the will of the composer. Though above all they are paintings, they are about paint, its nature and how one can define forms and illusion, a fine direct medium for filling my primal needs'.

London based artist Tommy Fiendish draws from a background in street art, tattooing and typography which are evident amongst the layers within his modern paintings. Often experimental, Fiendish's thought provoking, romantic and evocative images are a dystopian social commentary, often with darkly humorous overtones.
Years spent as part of creative subcultures and practicing various creative skills has led Fiendish to his unique style. Later graduating from LCC, University of the Art London with 1st degree honours where he produced the Better than Life series, a landmark in his painting career and that led to his current style.
Fiendish's past creative jobs include contributing artist to the Playstation and X Box game, Need For Speed Heat, assistant set design 2018 Spielberg film, Ready Player One, set design for a NetFlix documentary, album covers, sign writer and tattoo artist. His often experimental style uses materials from past jobs to creative, bold, evocative and provocative works.
