Whilst at college Toby was offered a conditional offer to complete an automotive design masters degree. One of the most competitive design degrees with the intention of becoming a product designer.

At the same time his father established his own company. It was this decision that shaped Toby's future. He turned down the chance to sit at a computer designing plastic radio knobs or sketches of elaborate concepts that will probably never work, deciding instead to get involved with the design, development, and creation of concept & prototype cars in their entirety.

Together Toby and his father created or recreated some of the most iconic motor cars in history. Using traditional techniques to craft from metal the most intricate of designs and shapes.

Allowing his passion for design to inform his future Toby started creating film props in metalwork, allowing his imagination run free and develop his own range of one-off fantasy creatures and icons.

Toby's private commissions now reside in homes around the world.
